Coalescing Lines And Color In Bostons South End

One of Boston’s best Bed and Breakfasts is also one of its newest Art Galleries. 14 Union Park bed and breakfast in Boston’s South End will be hosting rotating 3 month exhibits. Each exhibit will feature work by a small group of local artists, with artists grouped in the guest rooms and public locations of the building. Among the work in the exhibit beginning in May are several drawings by Dr. Regina Valluzzi, a science focused artist. There will be an open house and reception on the afternoon of May 4, 12 PM – 2 PM. the Open House is a great opportunity to meet the artists. Enjoy a bright idea in Brighton this Spring. The Athan's Cafe and Bakery is hosting an exhibition of Science inspired art from April 12 through June 3. The exhibit features colorful and organic paintings by Dr. Regina Valluzzi, an artist with decades of research experience in the Physical and Biomedical Sciences. Boston has a spectacular new location for abstract and contemporary 2-D art. The Blue Glass cafe is a bright modern counter-service cafe in the Lobby of the Hancock Tower in Copley Square, Boston. The cafe has embarked upon a "Local Artist Project", showcasing the work of a number of artists in the cafe's mezzanine seating area. The summer artist show, their first, was a solid success. The second will run through early winter, and the exhibit is already building early excitement. The exhibit features local abstract artist Regina Valluzzi aka "The Nerdly Painter", a painting physicist whose work often alludes to concepts and phenomena from her years of scientific research.

Artist Regina Valluzzi To Exhibit In Portsmouth

The Early Winter 11 Exhibition at The Gallery at 100 Market will feature biomorphic abstract expressionism to photo-realism, and a painting by a renowned sculpture and stills from music video. It includes professional who have practiced for decades on the seacoast exhibiting alongside emerging artists.

Early Winter 11 opens October 28 with an artists' reception 5 to 7 p.m., at 100 Market St. Portsmouth, and runs through January 13.

Given the gallerys four floors of wall space, the show has always offered opportunity to numerous artists to connect directly with buyers and other interested galleries. The current show features 16 artists from three states, the majority with multiple works or sizable collections, allowing for a real insight into the artists styles, says Michael Simchik, gallery patron and owner of 100 Market.

Original Art By Regina Valluzzi On Display In Arlington Center

Patterned and rhythmic abstract and abstract realist paintings by Dr. Regina Valluzzi are on display at the JamN'Java coffee shop, in the center of Downtown Arlington, MA, through January 2011. Among the works on display are several larger abstract paintings described by viewers as "like light through stained glass". A Physicist by training, with a number of peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Valluzzi incorporates experiential aspects of her scientific background into her work.

The Jam N' Java coffehouse is located off the Minuteman Bike trail, near the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue and Rte. 60 in the heart of downtown Arlington Center. It is an emerging hotspot for Arlington's Art and music scene, featuring live performances and a rotating selection of local artists' work - in addition to great snacks, tea and coffee.
